January 16th, 2006
WonderNet's biometric signature authentication technology incorporated with PaperIQ's digital pen and paper to provide first integrated solution of its kind.
WonderNet Ltd., a global leader in biometric signature authentication solutions particularly to the Banking sector, today announced a new agreement with PaperIQ provider of digital pen and paper solutions based on Anoto functionality.
Under the scope of this agreement, PaperIQ has incorporated WonderNet's Penflow technology with its digital pen and paper product line. This integrated solution is offered as part of the Enterprise edition of PaperIQ’s digital paper processing platform enabling customers to biometrically verify a signatory’s identity.
"With digital pen and paper solutions rapidly being adopted by progressive business organisations, we are happy to join forces with PaperIQ, leading experts in deploying Anoto’s digital pen and paper technology." Said Mr. Alex Herman, VP sales and business development at WonderNet. "With WonderNet's Penflow technology inside, PaperIQ's customers enjoy the most advanced and secure signature authentication solution without having to change the way they work."
The Penflow biometric signature authentication engine provides users of the digital pens with the ability to uniquely identify and verify handwritten signatures, allowing the construction of robust document workflow procedures. A biometrically signed version of a completed document can be also used as a legally binding electronic copy of the original form.
"We are delighted to have reached this agreement with WonderNet" Commented Robert Bakewell, Commercial Director at PaperIQ. "Our experience to date with digital pen and paper technology has shown us there is a significant demand in many sectors, including finance, law, medical research, and public sectors such as the police to prove who completed a specific form. At PaperIQ we aim to offer the best digital paper processing platform in the market and incorporating WonderNet’s Penflow technology further enhances this position."
