PaperIQ Preview BlackBerry Pearl Integration

Demonstrating their expertise and experience in developing for the BlackBerry Wireless Solution and reflecting their close relationship with Research in Motion, PaperIQ launched their latest innovation for the BlackBerry Pearl 8100 smartphone today. The latest BlackBerry device, launched by UK network carriers this week, was featured demonstrating digital camera and voice recording integration with PaperIQ Enterprise Server at a London event hosted by Research in Motion UK.

“When we were first briefed by RIM on the capabilities and industrial design employed by the Pearl, the significance of this device's introduction became clear.”, commented PaperIQ's Technical Director, James Shannon. "We therefore worked closely with RIM to ensure that our solution would maximise the potential of the device at launch and have therefore implemented some compelling features that extend our synergies with the BlackBerry platform even further, thereby allowing our enterprise customers to maximise their investment in both PaperIQ and BlackBerry wireless technology."

PaperIQ previewed the new features to carrier partners and press showing how the integration of the Pearl's multimedia features, such as its digital camera and voice recording functionality, with PaperIQ's digital pen and paper platform, offers even more opportunity for BlackBerry Enterprise Server customers to enhance the usability of the real-time wireless connectivity between their mobile workers and their enterprise systems.
